At Polaris, in addition to designing various features for the Polaris app, I played a crucial role in revamping the design system. This involved collaborating with a team of six designers to transition our design assets from Sketch to Figma, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined workflow. We focused on updating and organizing components to maintain consistency across web, mobile, and in-vehicle displays. By prioritizing cohesion and clarity in our design system, we improved the overall user experience while enabling faster and more effective design iterations for future projects.
The Collection feature I designed for Polaris was a pivotal enhancement that seamlessly integrated across mobile, web, and in-vehicle platforms. This feature allows users to effortlessly curate and manage their favorite tracks, routes, places, and areas, providing a cohesive experience regardless of the device they’re using. By ensuring consistency and functionality across all platforms, the Collection feature enhances user engagement and streamlines access to personalized content, ultimately enriching the overall experience for Polaris enthusiasts.
